I was born in Dallas, Tx and other than living in California a couple of times, I have always lived in Tx. I am married to a wonderful man, MJ. I have two great daughters, Dee and Melanie. And three grandsons, Dylan, Tyler, and the new grandbaby Ryder who I love to have come visit. MJ has a great son Shaun who lives in Indiana, married to Julie and has our only granddaughter, at the moment, Kennah. I have 3 dogs. Max is a 105 lb English Lab, Grace a border collie/boxer mix and Luna, our rescue dog is a Siberian Husky. I like to work in the yard. I now have around 40 rose bushes in my back yard. I had more but lost some during the last winter. The largest is a climber that is about 12 ft high x 18ft wide Seven Sisters Rose. It only blooms once a year in the spring, but it's worth it. I now have a offspring of the big one and when both bloom, it takes your breath away.

Labor Day Sept 1, 2008

This summer has been too hot. Very difficult to breath. I had 6 more photos accepted. Have not had time to submit more. MJ and I took the dawgs to the lake one day. All Max wanted to do was drink the lake water. Yuck. But he loved the drive. We discovered that Bear does not like to ride.
Great Uncle Cletis died in June. He was almost 105 years. Mother and I couldn't make the funeral because we were leaving for Galveston. Well, some of them got together at his funeral and elected me to set up a family reunion!
I spent a week taking photos of the different phases of the moon. The night of the full moon Aug 16th, it was raining and so cloudy I missed out. Bummer. But here is one taken Aug 12th. Very tight shot. :)
I wondered if that flag was still there.

MJ & I found time the first of August to go to the Dallas Arboretum and take photos.
I hope to get a membership for my birthday. I did a college of some of the photos I took
